My name is Pilar Roda Díez and I have always had a passion for languages. Learning and improving my language skills has always driven my career.
That led me to obtain my BA in Translation and Interpreting from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain). I studied my third year at Université Charles de Gaulle - Lille III (France), as part of an exchange program, where I started my specialisation in legal and medical translation.
When I finished my university degree I decided to move to London where I lived for several years, and where I obtained my MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Westminster and worked as a freelancer.
I recently moved to Brussels where I keep working as a freelance conference interpreter and translator.
I am also member of CBTI-BKVT (Chambre belge des traducteurs et interprètes) and ASETRAD (Asociación Española de Correctores, Traductores e Intérpretes).
As part of my career, I keep learning, improving my skills and broadening my knowledge, and that is why I attend webinars, courses and workshops, such as:
